I'm using steam in VietNam, in which currently having lots of issues since the server is being blocked by multiple local ISP. We can only be able to access Steam through Google and other VPN providers DNS. Everything is working just fine until the last 2 weeks. Even though my steam is still connected to the internet, I can still download, update games and see friends status. But couldn't anyhow access store page unless using a VPN which I don't really want to due to various reasons. Please let me know if you have any work around on this since i've tried pretty much all of the known and most updated method found on the internet. Thanks a lot.

Steam is banned in Vietnam so any attempt to use it will be met with errors. The only work around you have is to write to your local government and ask for Steam to be Vietnam. Your other solution is to pack your bags and move to another country where Steam is supported.

Using a VPN could get your Steam account banned.
