Workshop mods not installing properly
So for some reason, I had a bunch of workshop levels for a game (zombie night terror) and now they aren't appearing in the in game menu. They appear in my subscriptions folder and workshop folder in properties but they all say "0 b" (bytes). Also nothing downloads when unsubscribing and resubscribing. I've tried restarting steam and emptying download cache but nothing seems to work.

If your Workshop mods aren’t installing or showing up correctly, here’s what you can try to fix it:

1. Check Your Internet Connection
• Make sure Steam is fully connected to the internet and able to download files.
• Double-check that nothing like a firewall, VPN, or antivirus is blocking Steam.

2. Verify the Game Files
• Go to your Steam Library, right-click the game, and select:
Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files
• This will check for missing or corrupted files, which could also trigger a re-download of your mods.

3. Manually Delete Workshop Files
• Go to your Steam Workshop content folder:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\[Game ID]

• For Zombie Night Terror, the Game ID is 416680. Delete the contents of this folder, then try re-subscribing to your mods.

4. Delete Your Subscriptions File
• Navigate to this location:

Steam\userdata\[Your Steam ID]\ugc\workshop

• Delete the subscriptions.vdf file. Steam uses this file to track your subscriptions, and deleting it forces Steam to refresh the list when you resubscribe.

5. Resubscribe to Mods
• Unsubscribe from all the mods in the Workshop for this game, then restart Steam.
• After that, re-subscribe to the mods and check if they download properly this time.

6. Check Permissions
• Make sure your Steam folder and its subfolders (especially the Workshop content) aren’t set to Read-Only.
• Confirm you have full permissions to edit and write to these folders.

7. Disable Background Apps
• Turn off any apps that could interfere with Steam, like antivirus software or cloud syncing services (e.g., OneDrive or Google Drive).

8. Reinstall the Game
• If nothing else works, uninstall the game and delete its folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\[Game Name]

• Reinstall the game, then re-subscribe to the mods.

9. Ask for Help
• If you’re still stuck, you can try reaching out to Steam Support or posting in the game’s Steam Workshop or Community forums. Other players might have specific advice for this game.

Hopefully, one of these steps helps fix the issue.

I've tried reinstalling again and now everything seems to work, I will keep this up just in case anyone has a similar issue.

Thank you
