Any way to get a refund?

I downloaded Nancy Drew games for my daughter to play on my Mac, I looked for games that listed OS for apple but turns out most of them are not compatible and wasn't able to figure it out until after purchase. Anyone else run into this issue?

Click on help, go to Steam support, purchases, then the game.

The refund rules on Steam are " max 2 hours of playtime, purchase no longer ago then 14 days".

If you fulfill both requirements you simply can go to the Support page at the top and select "Purchases", then the game in question and choose " i want a refund for this purchase".
You can refund either to an external payment method ( if used to buy the game) or your Steam Wallet as store credit.

Welcome, and if you by chance get automatic deny by refund system, do this instead. In same process of refund, instead choosing I want refund for this purchase, you click on I have question about this purchase, and explain wanting a refund, and to be clear if want it back to external payment method, you say that as well in the message so support that read it will understand what you want.

Anyways hope you have good new years, and if ever need help feel free to ask questions, and someone be kind enough to help you out.

BTW IMO for Mac products just stick to App store if want to buy games. If ever buy/build a PC for Windows, or Linux then I recommend Steam, Gog, or etc for buying games.
