Does anyone have any tips on how to level up your steam level?
I am new to steam i just got a pc a couple weeks ago, I saw some people saying to not add low levels as friends so i figured i would try to level up a bit that way i would have some people to play with. From what i have seen you have to use full decks of trading cards to craft badges ( I could be wrong here forgive me if i am ) but i dont know how to get anymore trading cards, any help would be appreciated

You can only get half of a set yourself, then trade for the rest or buy them from the market board.

Those people are clueless, almost sounds like being low level would filter out morons grasping at straws.

The first few levels can be gotten by completing the community badge. You also have seasonal badges you can buy for points in the pointsshop, for bonus XP and levels, if you have points.

Other than that its all about the trading cards, yes.

The community badge might still have some tasks that can be done without spending money, but in general levels cost money, and they are pointless.
