Wifi try cable.
VPN stop use it.
Ask own ISP-
ps.
Somehow this has work before i bet, so what happend here.
Test with spare pc, will be seen as fastest way, ( gl with update drievsd at pc and netcard driver and routers firmware.
It's also your job to have lowest latency on own local network, why i put i like that is
1 router with lan ports is standard, not multi switch and other double router work as bridge that incresing latency. ( dont forget its your client that cant reach steam this mean either you have a issue or you isp do in reaching steam server that stand in ISP datacenter , and thats why i and other think not a tseam issue. )
You can make steam ticket and ask own ISP ( no one else has support )
We are steam user only here.
i also have a spare laptop and it also has the same issue with different wifi networks, ... + vpn works even before this so idk
I've looked at the connection_log.txt file when this happens and in every instance I've seen the following messages:
[2025-02-25 20:51:16] [Logging On, 4, 75] [U:1:13992924] RecvMsgClientLogOnResponse() : [U:1:13992924] 'OK'

In all cases the connection is immediately restored by going offline and online and but this is a pretty irritating thing to have to do when I want to stream a game from my desktop PC as I have to go to the desktop machine and fix its connection before I can play.
Specify auto-reconnect here.
I'd love to. But I can't find any such setting in the steam configuration :D
As far as I can see my client is setup to auto-reconnect and has been since it was first installed.
im also having some kind of error at the windows start when im clicking on the steam in tray as soon as it appears there, it says like "steam broke, wanna restart it?" if im choose anything or even cancel this error - nothing happens, its just working. i guess?..
im also DONT RECIEVE MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS PROPERLY FOR YEARS OMG SOMEBODY FIX THAT ALREADY
aaaand im also opening stuff like steam pages from the Friends Activity as MOBILE VERSION UI, like seriously, im the only who dont understand why its still there?
Mr. Newell, please notice me...
Steam got lots of issues these days...
