I'm not running any other games so I'm not sure what SDK's deal is. I've tried exiting Steam then opening it back up and it still won't work. It seems that whenever I open a game that uses Source SDK Multiplayer, it works fine, but whenever I exit out and try to play another game, then it starts acting up. It goes back to normal every time I turn my PC off then turn it back on but I don't want to do that every time I want to switch to another game.
You mean clicking tools in the library? If so then I did that. I clicked on the SDK program itself then tried to turn it off but it wouldn't. So I'm not really sure about that. Also I tried looking in task manager.
OK I just closed all the Steam clients running in TM and that seemed to work. Idk if I was just lazy or if I had no idea what I was looking for but it seemed to do the job.
Edit: It's working now, whenever I close a Valve game and open up a new one nothing pops up. I'm not sure if it'll stay like this but it seems a lot less tedious than shutting off my PC then turning it back on again. Either way, if it happens again I'll just head to TM and end all running Steam tasks.
Thanks.
