So start with chkdisk I guess.
This is what it said in the CHKDSK:
Stage 5: Looking for bad, free clusters ...
244153442 free clusters processed.
Free space verification is complete.
Phase duration (Free space recovery): 2.57 hours.
Correcting errors in the Master File Table (MFT) mirror.
Failed to fix master file table (MFT) mirror.
CHKDSK aborted.
1) your permissions are messed up. Running steam as an administrator can generally fix thi
2) your anti-virus sucks. Uninstall it and use Windows Defender
The reality is you screwed up your system so much using these dumb apps to make your OS look like windows 7. Its not staem's fault these things hook into explorer and the shell and then proceed to dumpter fire your system once anything minor happens to these programs
Also is your D:\ an external or network drive. that's another issue if that's the case
External.
If something not right, I'm gonna ask you to do drive health check using CrystalDiskInfo, and test performance with CrystalDiskMark.
So if you see any MAJOR problems via CrystalDiskInfo, then that be BAD sign in your case if unable to repair, or format unable to fix the issue.
What part of this reads A-OK to you?
When you researched this result, what did you learn? *hint-hint
your hard drive has a serious issue if CHKDSK cannot fix the master file table.
Or have warrant on it but its from win7 ( maybe drev is already busted, i mean win7 look like whatever you mean here is years ago 2017 so warrant on most drev is gone. )
Did you had one of them Linux clone installed that make a file system in windows such file can be seen as gibberish for windows, they require special uninstall app from linux or total re format in NTFS. ( it's a long time ago i have seen such file format unless you forgot you did it. ) and this dont look like that case here.
