Got my account hacked, the person who purchased it removed all my previous friends.

Hello people and very hard to reach customer support.

I recently got hacked and it took me a while to get my account back. I tried to get my account back through [e-mail] which was useless. I then reached out to Valve and it didn't take long until I got my account back through their customer support.

The person who bought my account from steam_inc at G2G contacted me and said he removed all my friends and the only reason he bought the account was to play rocked league since it's not avaiable to get anymore on new accounts. I had a hard time to be mad at that guy.

Anyways when I try to reach steam with my issue it is VERY hard to reach an actual person about a specific issue. I want to get my friends back again and I was hoping a technical person at Steam can resolve this.

Yeah, Support does not communicate via email.

Eff that guy. He knew better. At least he contacted you which I guess is better than nothing but doesn't make up for removing your friends.

Support won't. You'll have to add them back yourself. If I recall correctly there is a file in the Steam folders that keeps track of friends. I'm on mobile right now or else I'd try to find it.
