How to use Steam Overlay in games purchased on Ubisoft Connect?

I had to get a bunch of Ubisoft games on Greenmangaming as they were cheaper there. Ubisoft connect works fine without any issues but I'm missing out one of the major features that I love about steam which is screenshots and recordings and I can't do those in ubi connect.

It's not possible to add these ubi games as a non steam game directly as ubi games have .url instead of exe.

Does anyone know any alternative?

Very stupid of me.

I totally forgot that had I digged deep enough, I would've found exe of the Ubi connect game in C:/Programs Files x86/ Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/Game name.

I found the exe at the location and added it as a non steam game and now steam overlay works fine.

Yeah whenever want to use Steam overlay for a non steam game, just add game .exe as non steam that it. For games using games that forced to launch only via 3rd party launchers example genshin impact, there a way to do it, I don't remember atm exactly what have to do, but something to do with hook onto launcher to hook the game itself.

And yeah there nothing wanting to buy your games cheaper, but some people just prefer things their way as well, for me it's only like $1 difference buying them on Steam, vs buying a ubisoft key on sale.
