For Windows 7 Users About Bugisoft ( Your version of Ubisoft Connect is Outdated )
Its Sems to be a Major Issue all Windows 7 Users unable to connect Online because a blocker popup with your version of Ubisoft Connect is Outdated and returning at login panel

Impossible to connect Online to the Bugisoft Disconnect the last version runnable on 7 =

10857 (Instable)
10899 (Stable)

After thes version launcher using Chromium Dependency of 10 without Redirect function Base that can allow Older OS to use Defaut Function and dependency redirection to lets the launcher start without Base Dependency

Offline connect Working but Online Connect Not

If the Server Side sending automaticaly that Denied then that can be resolved only by Server Side Responsive of Bugisoft Agent that can make that function False to lets Older OS with Windows 7 Games still playable

If that a Client automatique Popup that more complicated because need to override that function in the app to make it Disabled or returned as 0 - False to lets the launcher connect like before

At this time No Fix Existing

So your complaint is that software no longer is supported on an OS that has been out of support for 5 YEARS

But that's Ubisoft's fault?

Update to Windows 11

The Choice of People are theyr choice im nothing to judge theyr choice, theyr reason for thes choice ect

+ its disrespectuous to insitate or give an order to anyone

And the fault i don't know yet, don't know if that a changement are from the server or outdated certificate or an automatics Client Procees

The 'choice of the people' is not absolute

Application makers have choices too. They can, rightly, choose to no longer support a insecure 5 year old OS

Your 'choice' has consequences. That's not other people's problem to solve. You made this problem. You have the solution. Your unwillingness to use the appropriate solution is not Ubisofts problem. Its not Microsoft's problem. Its YOUR PROBLEM.

If I can let go of Win Vista, I'm sure you can to. If win 11 is to advanced for you. Maybe you can upgrade to win 10. Microsoft did make win 10, from win 7 and 8 put together.

Give it a try it should be free if you are legit from Microsoft.

If server side that will be complicated if that client that can be fixed easly but will take 1 or 3 days Maximum

Also if its server side alot of need to be tested but that only in case Bugisoft don't care about it

Of Course all game buy on Windows 7 build in and for Windows 7 have Right Obligation for the buyer

Its a recent situation then lots of thing need to be done
Didn't those games also mention.

example requirement from a Ubisoft game...

OS *: Windows® XP (32-64 bits) /Windows Vista®(32-64 bits)*

* Starting January 1st, 2024, the Steam Client will only support Windows 10 and later versions.

:nkCool:

It's odd how one's choice becomes another's obligation.

Your choice to use Windows7, an unsupported OS which is a self inflicted problem.

Ubisoft and other companies also have choice. They chose not to support an abandoned OS.

Infortunaly that not working like that, consumer have right is not about an OS its about Users Right in general and Windows 7 are mentioned here because the issue are touching thes users

and thes consumer starting at Windows Vista at Windows 11 that means all the buyer need to have acces to theyr buyed product in Offline mode for Solo Games and Online Games with is own feature and function that make thes game playable for the consumer

OP, you hve no support windows 7 / 8, Microsoft have left the bulding as we say today.

So you think a game company/ APPS company can fix OS issue, they will not, and open that door only lead to more complains over it and outdated OS issue.

And why do we need to tell yout about it, MS warn you about it, wayback then it was time to upgrade.

Stop thiking we other hate win7 that's not the case, i use that OS for years then it was support by MS.

ps.
What we should ask here why do you live under a rock and think you can ask any related win7/8 issue, even steam told you they don't support win7 anymore.

And why have a steam moderator not Locked this post and all past win7/8 issue is next issue.

Humanity calls it progress and survival of the fittest. Meaning win7 is old and discontinued. Where a new win11 gets born.

Where are you here? Will you be old or new.
