Noticing a weird visual bug with the steam client
When I minimize the main window, or the friends list window, sometimes the little preview of them when I mouse over them in my taskbar will be almost solid black with a weird checkerboard pattern showing bits of the bottom of the window. I know this is an occasional problem with nvidia graphics cards, but I'm only seeing the issue with the steam client. I used to have a similar problem with chrome before I adjusted some of the graphic acceleration settings which got rid of the problem

Try...

Steam > Settings > Interface >>> Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views (requires restart).

This had been enabled, disabling it seems to have stopped it? will see if that continues to check out
