Game crashes after being launched
So my friend has had this issue for a while now. He purchase a game, we play it the same day and then exits the game. The next day we want to play the same game. I can launch and play it just fine but when he just launches it starts the game for maybe a second and then shuts down. And this has happened on multiple games. Could someone please help us?. He has reinstalled the game and steam, updated GPU drivers etc but nothing really seems to be working. Has anyone else had this problem? We have looked for similar issues online but no one really seems to have had the same problem as he does.

Hard to say, you didn't even mention which game...

You may need to look at the event viewer or crash dumps to see what the system is logging about the crash. Is there any error messages displayed?

What are his system specs?

Right now it R.E.P.O, but it has been like this with the most recent games he has purchased. Like Golf with Friends, Liars bar are other examples. He launches the game, then closes. No error message or anything. We'll try what you recommended and keep looking.
