HowTo Import existing Steam Libraries (on other drives) after reinstall?

If the Libraries have default properties (are on the root of the drives and are named 'Steam Library' 'SteamLibrary' - made a mistake, the words aren't separated) guess you could just do:
Steam > Settings > Storage > click drop-down > Add Drive > select the drive from the drop-down > Add

Or to specify the folder:
after Add Drive > select 'Let me choose another location' > navigate to and select the Library folder (i.e. the folder that contains the 'steamapps' folder)

Someone on steam once told me all you need to do is copy the files called MANIFEST to the new drive then all the games will be there. Last time i tried it years ago it worked
