Mortal Kombat 1 game key unavailable in my region?
I recently purchased a steam key from a third party website from which I have purchased before and have had no problems.
The site tells me where the key is from and I selected the global key, as I have in the past. This time however upon trying to purchase mortal kombat, the error I got upon trying to redeem the game was "Sorry but is not available for purchase in your country" and yes, it does have that grammar mistake.
I double checked to see if the key was for steam, which it was, and if I was able to redeem it in my country, which was also true.
I have contacted the site and made a support ticket and I am hoping for the best, I was just wondering if it could also be an error on steam's side of things

Before you say that the site is not legit or I have moved my store region/ got a region specific key, I can assure you that both the site is indeed legit as I have had dozens of other purchases from them, and that I have not moved or used a vpn to change my region, despite it being a global key

I dont know, I used this site well over 15 times and have always gotten the correct key, and most people I know (IRL speaking) also use this site, but I guess I will just have to wait for them to respond or im just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I learned my lesson, too bad it wasnt that cheap of a lesson
You having a good history with it doesn't change the fact that it is a grey market site rife with fraud. As Hotsauce said, get a refund on the key and buy through a legitimate seller.

Steam support can not help you with region locked keys or purchases from shady key sites.

Get a refund from the shady key site and purchase from a legitimate key site.

Let's do a test... Post the key site here.
