Downloading games
How do I change how a game is downloaded?
On my last pc the farm sim games downloaded as an app, on my new pc it’s downloading as a web link. I’m not tech savvy and I need help

Nothing downloads as a "web link" from Steam.

Are you sure you are using the Steam client to do the download?
What makes you think it's not downloading the actual game?

Inside the folder/file on the laptop when I go to downloads. Fs19 & fs22 are “internet shortcuts”
