A hack thrue a fake steam link

So my friend was hacked and somehow got his account restored before any damage could be done (Maybe). The hacker is unknown but i was a victim for that trick and others were also being targeted in his friend's list. Hope steam will add in a warning message before clicking a link. Be careful out there

I changed my password and locked my account so we are all good.

I had no warning sign sadly. Maybe it was because i copied the link instead of clicking it

Sadly did not know that word existed so yea lol. I ain't really getting targeted by hackers that much

Well, yeah, Steam can't display a warning if you copy the link indeed.

If you want to keep that copying habit, learn about phishing. Actually, learn about phishing either way.
