Very Distorted Sound on Bluetooth Headset

Hello everyone, I've had this problem of distorted sound for a while but never found the cause.

Today I found out that when the default Windows microphone was set to be the one on my headset the sound in certain games will become VERY distorted. (Currently noticed on Ori and the will of the wisp and Terraria tModLoader).Then I tried out to go into the Windows sound setting, go into the Recording tab...and the sound was not distorted AS LONG as I was in that tab, I thought that the sound was distorted as long as the mic was NOT used but it's not that apparently

So I guess my question is: Does anyone have/had this issue or knows how to solve it?
