Discounts on Flight Simulator

Hi, MS is offering a discount through the end of July 2022 on Fllight Simulator but I don't seem to find how to apply the discount on steam - can someone point me please (a link would help!) If i cannot find it on steam I will have to download it from MS site - the Premium Delux is selling for $96 - thanks!

If the game isn't discounted on Steam, it's not discounted on Steam.

Ah ok thanks then, I guess I will just download from Microsoft Store - is there any advantage to buying on steam and paying $25 more in this case? Cheers!

The Steam version isn't discounted right now, the Microsoft store version is. It's actually quite common for publishers to run their discounts not simultaniously on different stores, but to spread them.

You don't have to pay more, you can wait for a sale on Steam if you want the Steam version. It was on sale in the recent Summer sale, for example.

The advantage is to have the game on Steam. If there's Steam Workshop support for the game, Steam cloud or Steam achievements, you'll get that.

Aside from that, unless you like that warm, fuzzy feeling of having all your games on Steam, there's none.
