My Risk of Rain 2 Save File is corrupted

Not sure if it helps but the save error/name is:
Corrupted Profile: dleeb54f-d73d-4b39-96f9-15b335a3187a
I was just reading the log entry of the "hardlight afterburner" it froze then crashed and when I opened the game the save was named like that; I checked for older saves in the cloud:"Risk of rain: 0 Bytes"; I went to "Risk of Rain 2" -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files it said everything was fine; I restarted my PC just in case, nothing.
I'll check sending an email to the devs for help, but I doubt that'll happen.
I don't wanna lose 43 hours of progress...

Download the savegame manually and overwrite the existing one on the pc, deactivate the Steam cloud for the game, start it and save the game, reactivate the steam cloud.

try an sfc scan on cmd then restart the game, if that doesn't work then welp

Btw, as far as I am aware, you can manually edit the save game data for Risk of Rain 2 (the data is stored locally and in plain text). So if nothing else works out you could try that.

Yeah, talk to me when you lose 600 hours of progress. And it's not just about unlocks. All the stats from profile are just gone. No way to edit that back in.

Well, If it's that important to you, then you should have kept a backup.

If you can't afford to lose the data, or you just don't want to lose it, keep a backup. That should be common sense.
