Fraps is a screenrecorder that records exactly every single frame exactly the way it is. That means that if you have a 1080p resolution or bigger, every single frame will be around 2MegaPixels, or as much as 1-2 MegaByte. Multiply that by your framerate, which usually is 60 - 75 frames per second, and you know why it is that big. If you want to upload a video recorded from Fraps, you need to decrease the size of this file. This can be done by putting the video in any video editor and then saving it at the same resolution or lower, preferably with a framerate of about 30 frames per second. The 30 frames per second thing is because Youtube and almost all other big video streaming sites do not support higher framerates.
