Razer Connection Issues
Hey everyone!
I have the Razer Naga Hex mouse and the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Stealth keyboard and am having a problem. I've had the mouse for almost a year and the keyboard for about 2 months, and both of them get disconnected with the slightest tap to the USB. I'll be playing a game and my cat will walk behind my computer and disconnect both my keyboard and mouse just because she pumped it. Now I don't and haven't had this problem with any other USB I have used (gamepad and thumbdrive).
I've checked online and haven't seen solutions and haven't really seen anyone with this same problem (just them saying their mouse randomly disconnects). I've read that uninstalling Synapse 2.0 could fix the problem, but I don't want to if I don't have to.

So I have 2 questions:
1. Is there a solution to this problem? Should I uninstall Synapse?
2. I am thinking of buying the Razer Kraken 7.1, because I don't have a headset. Should I take the chance, and if not, do you have any recommendations for a headset for around the same price?

TL;DR:
My Razer mouse and keyboard disconnect with the slightest touch to the USB. I've heard that uninstalling Synapse 2.0 could fix the problem, but I don't want to if I don't have to. Any solutions?
Also should I risk buying the Razer Kraken 7.1 and if not, do you have any recommendations for around the same price?

TL;DR the TL;DR:
Should I avoid Razer?

Thanks you,
Flying Cattle

This could be just an issue with your USB ports. i don't personally own any razer. try with a different mouse and keyboard. make sure there is no downward force on them (like a cable running over it). i have lap top and tapping things gently does the same thing

I've used my gamepad with no issues. The USB on my gamepad even looks like it is falling out at times, but it has never disconnected.
I thought maybe my mouse was just faulty but the same thing happens to my keyboard and has happened since the first day I got it.
Is it possible it's just a software issue?

it could be. try uninstalling razer synapse and delete the drivers and plug in the moust again. and when it disconnects see if windows says it malfunctiond

Alright, I'll give it a try sometime tomorrow.
Thanks!

Update:
I uninstalled Synapse, and it seems to have fixed my mouse's connection issue for the most part. It doesn't disconnect with the slightest touch like it used to, but my keyboard still does. Seems odd to me.

Really, I can deal with my mouse and keyboard getting disconnected because it is in the back of my PC, so it doesn't happen often. My concern is if I were to get a Razer headset. It would be plugged into the front of my PC where I am bound to hit it or move it.

I'll try and hit them softer. :P
I would love to move my tower, but at the moment I can't.

Thanks for the help!

I know this is old but most razer tech has issues with USB 3.0 mine, was disconnecting without even touching it, I switched it to a USB 2.0 port and it works fine. Nothing was wrong with the 3.0 port itself, razer just, I quote from a razer support guy: "dosen't like USB 3.0".

I think the issue had to do with the Razer Synapse software. I uninstalled the software and had no issues, and when I reinstalled it awhile later, I still had no issues. Maybe it was updated?
