Missing CS:GO Gifts?

I traded someone a couple cs:go case keys for 2 copies of cs:go gifts that I would give to my friends when they came online. On the same day a little later or so I check my gifts inventory and they are no where to be seen?!?! We traded in one trade so I know that I traded for them and I have a SS of it. I have contacted steam support but its been a couple days and no response.

I dont know if these is a mistake on steams part or something because I have never seen or heard of this before.

Sounds like he did a chargeback on his purchase (which should get his account banned), so they took the games away since they weren't paid for. Support should be able to retrieve the items you traded for the games, but only once.

I thought that once an gift was traded and accepted that charge backs could not be done? Guess not I guess. I will report him for sure and hope that steam can either recover the gifts or the items i traded away if they ever get back to my ticket.

Adding on it does look like he is scamming and doing charge backs. Reported him as I looked on his profile and he has done it to multiple users.

Put in a steam ticket with steam support. I have gotten my items back from steam as it was confirmed he did a chargeback. It did take 2-3 days to get a reply but they did get my items back that were traded.
