Steam Antivir False Positive?
lately when doing the latest beta updates for Steam Avira recognizes the file GameoverlayUI.exe as Trojan TR/Dropper.Gen anyone out there with the same issue or can confirm it as false positive?

Most likely it's a false positive as Avira might not be updated to recognise the beta version of Steam overlay. Send the GameoverlayUI.exe to Avira with correct information so they can check it and add it to their exception list before the update gets out of beta.

well under normal circumstances youd be right about sending it to Avira but in this case its a temporary file that only pops up as long as its installling the updates. afterwards all is as its supposed to be a clean Virus free Install of Steam.
