Full screen game/video task switches randomly or drops to windowed
As per the title, whenever I'm gaming or watching video, something happens (I think it's a task switch) randomly and my game/video drops to window of desktop, which sucks...

Any ideas why this is happening or what is causing it? my google-fu has failed me..

I'm on Windows 8.1 update BTW

Thanks Pilsu, I cleared a bunch of pointless tasks and a couple of startup items and it seems to have fixed the issue, had a three hour session with no drops so here's hoping. Cheers!

Been noticing the same thing myself since switching to 8.1. It's very annoying. I'll have to check my running tasks and see what's causing it...

I found that killing itunes and adobe type update assistant tasks was the fix. Let me know how you go
