Can my pc run Garrys Mod

i wanna know can my pc run Gmod weth no lag med settings pc specs
CPU Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz
CPU Speed 2.4 GHZ
Ram 1.6 gb
OS Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
Video Card GeForce FX 5200
Free Disk Space 128.4 GB

you have a weak computer, but you could rn it if you upgraded your pc. check to see if your motherboard can hold more ram, and if it can, then max it out. you might also consider upgrading your graphics card. you dont dont need to much for garrys mod, but it would be best to get the nicest graphics card possible without overdoing your power supply. i got a decent card for $60 on amazon, an amd radeon HD 6450 with 2 gbs of vram. you dont need much for garrys mod, and if your prive rang is small, you might just need to get 1 gb or 512 mbs. you can probobly run gmod, but you will expeirience lag.

Well. I'd say even if you could run it that it would probably be quite slow.

I agree with the others, An upgrade seems in order.

Gmod is more reliant on CPU rather than GPU performance.

It will run, but will slow down quickly as more objects are spawned.

Yeah.
Whilst I could guess that your system is a pre-built computer (which explains why it's compiled of low-grade components), I'm sure that by using lowest-grade graphical settings I'm sure you'll have a fine time playing GMOD with not an overly amount of graphics lag.

AMD FX(TM)-4130-QUAD-CORE PROCESSOR 3.80ghz
4.00gb ram
windows 7 64 bit

but iam going to upgrade my pc to an gtx 760 and 16gb ram :)

yea guys i know my pc is weak but can i play it wethout playing it in black and white
ill probley mostley play on server and single player worlds i can run minecraft weth 50 fps
i not going to be blowing up like 500 nukes but i wanna make stuff so please help
