Hl.exe - Application Error

Everytime I open Counter Strike, this exact error appears - " The instruction at "0x77e9f7a2" referenced memory at "0x8b55ff8b". The memory could not be "read". "
I think the 'codes' keep changing. Cant tell surely.

It used to work all this while and now out of nowhere this error appears. I reinstalled CS but still this error persists. All the 'Verifying Game Cache' and all is not helping. Updated everything but still its there. But once out of 5-6 times.. the game works and sometimes it crashes in game with the same error. I am using Windows Xp Professional sp3.

Another thing.. I am not able to login into steam through Browser. Tried everything.

Sorry man. I can't help u on this. Actually I bought a new pc so its fine now. Needed one. Check if formatting helps. I did everything else apart from that.
