Doubt about steam DLCs
So, i know that DLCs can only be installed in one computer, but i thought: what if i have to reboot my PC, will i be able to install them again or what? I'm just asking because in other computers that i have installed skyrim, for example, i haven't seen the option to install the DLCs, nor would them install automatically. Thanks in advance for anyone who takes their time to answer this :p

DLC is usually installed along with the main game.

Why do you think you can only install DLC on one machine when you can instal the game on any machine?

Because i tried to :) As i said, i didn't find an option to manually install the DLCs, and they didn't install automatically, so if you know of a way, please enlighten me! (and by the way, i asked other users around, and they all told me DLC can only be installed in one account)

Are you in the steam beta? I heard there is an option to select which dlc is installed.

Or does skyrim have a launcher of some sort that has options?

By default, all DLC is installed automatically.

For Skyrim, make sure they appear under the data files option in the launcher and that they are ticked as enabled.

Accounts are not machines. Steam doesn't even handle DLCs properly when multiple accounts are involved, but generally, they are meant to be owned by the same account that owns the base game.

No i'm not in beta, but i can enable it, and yes, Skyrim has a launcher, and it has options where i can enable/disable the DLCs but only if they are installed.

This may seem like a stupid question, but have you actually bought Skyrim?

Yes i have, and it isn't a stupid question! One could easily download it from pirate bay and add it to steam library. But, again, i didn't.

I was more wondering whether it was being played through Family Sharing instead of actually being purchased on this account, which would be a possibility for the DLC missing since that account wouldn't own the base game.

When did you buy the DLC and when did you last check that it wasn't working?
