The games stay with your account.

No matter which computer you use, as long as you are able to log into your Steam account, you will be able to install and play these games.

if you download them on your laptop they stay on your laptop. the games you wish to download have to be downloaded on the machine you wish to download them on:tlove:

You can copy the games over to your desktop from your laptop but the files may need to be verified so you will still need an internet connection.

Just be sure you are putting them in the right folder and exit steam before you copy the files over.

Basically, as long as it is downloading to YOUR computer it shall stay on it forever (unless you remove it later on), it doesn't matter if it's downloaded from your internet or an australian coffee shop, so long as you are downloading it from the account you bought it on to your laptop. I beleive there is a way to transfer it onto your PC, try going into your program files go to the game files you want to transfer (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Borderlands 2 to transfer Borerlands 2) i'm not 100% sure it works but i dont see why it wouldn't just make sure you COPY the files on the USB not MOVE them, if you have no USB try emailing them to yourself instead. Good luck.

If this doesn't work then unfortunately you're going to have to manually download them from your account onto the PC instead and to be honest, it's worth the wait, trust me my internet sucks too but nothings perfect dude.

Steam has a backup function. Download to one computer, make a backup, copy that to to other computer and restore it.

The last time I did this, I had to copy over the game folder (from common dir) and it's corresponding .acf file (from steamapps dir) and then verified files.

Try the built in backup function, first.

Will this replace my current steam folder though? Cause I have one or two ghames downloaded on my gaming pc already?
