Steam Guard Not Sending E-Mail to New PC!!
Hi All,

I have just built a new PC and installed Steam on it, once I login with the correct details it says it has sent me an e-mail to verify the account, however this e-mail never arrives!

I have waited 24hrs and no e-mail in any folder and I also raised this with Steam Support via a ticket(9161-ODHB-5674) straight away but have not heard anything back. Basically Steam has my games and I cant even access them wtf is going on??

For a company to do this to its users and not recify the situation straight away is unacceptable. Can anyone tell me if there is another way around this or a contact number for Steam as I am furious!!

You are not alone with this problem, maybe wait and see if it works out later.

Are you using hotmail by any chance? Some people have managed to change email to gmail for example as a workaround.

No. And never contact with someone when you furious. It's pointless and not constructive.
Some people say that last night had problems with sending a verification code via hotmail.

Thanks for the advice.

Its fine to contact a company if you are furious with them you just need to remain composed. At the end of the day with users Steam wouldn't exist so its in their best interest to solve this issue promptly and to compensate users for the inconvenience.

It might be hotmail that has the issue, who knows.

Hi All,

I have tested the codes on various machines and they got sent from a mac machine I had to hotmail just not the new windows machine, i am sure that Steam will try to pass the book but ultimately its their fault.

Lol i know kickinchicken i dont expect to get anything buy I am going to push for it anyway.
I solved changing email from Hotmail to Virgilio (in Italy)....... I tried using Yahoo too but I had the same problem with this mail

how make new e-mail ? i don't have icon in the System Tray if i don't log in...
Sure you are on the right email? Checked the spam folder and so on?

im sure, i log in on web site steam and they send on my mail cod but this cod is not for steam apps. I try all reset accon and don't have mail in my post
