Steam "Server Not Responding" Issue

Every game within my steam library that uses a steam browser is having no results found for any game or invites and such whatsoever, at first this problem was massive, Forcing me to quit Team Fortress 2 due to being unable to connect or find any servers at all. This problem has occured for Team Fortress 2, Natural Selection 2, Garry's Mod, Counter Strike: Source and Chivalry: Medieval warfare, which i only just bought then. Basically any server sent through steam either searched or with an invitation linking it, is not responding. Usually i use the console to connect to the ip to override this problem but that only works for a few games, Garry's Mod and Natural Selection 2. If i can get a fix on this it'd be greatly appreciated as i've had this server problem for close to 2 years. (Not a firewall related problem, Not an internet issue, stricly Steam related problem)

We had similar issues for a long time on one of our computers. We went through the whole troubleshooting thing with the Steam help team and everything. Nothing ever fixed it...except restoring the laptop back to factory settings (erasing everything on it) and starting completely over. Everything works perfect now. Aggravating to have to do that, but it was the only thing that worked for us. Hopefully you won't have to do all of that though.

I fixed it via a new computer :/ kind of annoying that it didn't work though
