Check your processes for any unneeded programs and applications. Your startup, etc. One of the programs running is taking over. Close them one by one until the problem goes away.

I found this program called cltmng which is believed to be a problem, i will try removing it.

I've been having this problem too, started yesterday. Every other thread seems to be about windows 7 and things are set up differently on windows 8. I've tried disabling things but i don't know what I'm looking for and i don't want to disable anything vital.

Hmm, quick google search says cltmng.exe is a browser hijacker. Probably going to want to fix that.

Windows 8 isn't that much different ( Win+R 'msconfig'). Autoruns and ProcessExplorer from Microsoft TechNet could be helpful too (they provide an option to "search online" if your sure about what your looking at).

If you have windows 7 premium an its not upgraded then its will keep minimize. Atleast it is for me

Is there a way to make sure that no other program takes over and the game is always the primary program running?

i fixed it by disabling the programs on startup, and as for clmtg.exe, thats from a "virus" called searchprotect by conduit, i took care of it a while ago, but i mustve had fragments of it on my pc still.

My Joseph; what programs did you disable at startup?
Boey Apr 29, 2014 @ 11:31am
i disabled avg, some software that came with a camera i own, itunes (never use it) as well as the clmntg i had on start up. if you are unsure what to disable, i would recomend to google search what you want to disable if you want to be safe.

also ever since i disabled them, it still hasnt happened once. :glitch:

Could it be possible that McAfee is causing the problem? The On-Access Scanner seems to use a lot of the memory even when not running a scan.

it could be possible i suppose, i dont have mcafee though. does it have gaming mode or something like on it?
