Dark souls 2 removed from library
i got this message from steam:
Your recent gift received from "Monopolist" has been revoked due to a problem processing payment for this item. The games associated with this gift can no longer be played as a result. If you would like to purchase this item, visit the Steam Store. Otherwise, you may choose to delete the local content associated with this gift.
I wrote to steam support but they are slow so maybe anyone else can help? That game just dissapeared from my library and i don't have it in inventory

Your friend's a deadbeat or a scammer.

Shouldn't buy New releases through trading dude; most of them are bought with fake Credit Cards.

Only Steam Support can help you. If you traded for it, they will return your items you traded as a ONE TIME gesture.

So that means i can get my keys back?

Yes, once.

Yep, but only this once. If you make a faulty trade again, then you're screwed in the sense you lost money.

You can get your keys back, then be careful when trading so this doesn't happen again.

Where does it say this is limited to a one time return? It used to be that the return of items from a hijacked account was a one time deal (it no longer is) but I've never seen it shown anywhere that reversing a fraudulent trade is a one time deal.

What if I redeemed a game from a trade that is fraudulently purchased?

If this happens, the account where the fraud took place will be suspended. Your account will not be suspended, however the game you redeemed/unpacked to your account will be removed. We will restore the items/gifts that were associated with the trade that you performed to receive the game as a one-time customer service gesture. If you did not trade any items/gifts for the game directly then we are not able to restore anything to your account (i.e. if the game was a gift). Please contact Steam Support if a game that you traded for is missing from your inventory or account.

Well that sucks. How the heck are you supposed to know if the item was bought fraudulently?

Basically you are supposed to be careful with who you trade things like this with, and only trade with people you trust.
