Were those four games installed in a different location from the rest of your games? Your Steam libraries may have been removed. Try this: In the top left corner of the Steam client, click "Steam" > "Settings" > "Downloads" tab > "Steam Library Folders" button. Check and make sure that any and all Steam libraries across all your drives (i.e. C:\Program Files\Steam\, D:\Steam\) you may have are in that list.

Hey, I had this same problem but when I go into settings/downloads it says "steam apps folder must be empty to add." Any suggestions?

Oh, nevermind. You HAVE to add the steam folder itself, not the steamapps folder.
