Can't use number keys for items anymore Dota 2

Hey guys, i normally have my items in order of spacebar, 1,2,3,4,5,6...
But today when I played a game, only the spacebar work, none of the number keys activate my items anymore.

I did reset all of the hotkeys and try to set it up again. But i couldnt seem to choose number for my items.

Please help me out, I can't play the game as of right now :(

Is it all the games you play or only some, or only one?

I'm sorry i should have mentioned: this problem only occurs for Dota 2. Other games are fine

Are you able to Veryfy the game cashe? Im not saying that would work but its a start

Dota 2 > Right Click > Properties > Local Files Tab > Verify Integrity of game cache

If any files are corrupted or missing this will fix it

I know its a pain but are you able to reassign the keys to other keys? need to find out if its the game or just your keyboard being poo

I tried every other keys and they worked. Just not the number keys...

yeah i tried both my laptop keyboard and my other keyboard. Same problem. I even tried it on my desktop

Then this is a really strange problem. try looking on some Dota Forums and post the problem there to see if any other players have had the same problem and know how to fix it.

ty. I posted the problem on the subreddit of dota already. Some people already confirmed they just counter the same problem. Lets hope that this will be fixed soon

Hope you solved your problem. It's has been a year :)) I've got this recently and it's just really simple to fix this. I found that's because of the language input from window, changed it and everything's ok.
