If you're not getting the 64-bit depot, you're not running a 64-bit OS
COD Ghosts is 64-bit only but actually lets you download the entire game, then barfs when you try to run it.
I dont know of many other 64-bit games... Nether is th eonly other one.
As for Arma 3, I wasn't aware that had a 64bit version. Very few games do.
is it a acronym ?
No, it's not an acronym. I don't know anything about the Steam internals, but think of the games in your library as being more general "you have that game" entries. Steam itself has different downloads for different platforms, and possibly various other conditions such as language selection or DLC configuration; I'd assume these download packages are the "depots".
ARMA3 has no 64-bit exectuable as far as I can tell
Space Engineers has one, but you likely have to launch it manually or something. I dont have the game so I"m not sure how you differntiate between the 32/64-bit exectuables.
Depots are how Steam handles 'content'.
Apps are basically what you would consider a 'game'. You add depots to your app for say 64-bit executables, a LInux depot, a Mac depot, a depot for a different language. etc. YOu can make it as granular as you want or just dump everything into one depot and call it a day.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is also 64-bit only, and behaves the same way.
