Steam Wallet activating

Guys I need make Steam wallet works on the market but I cant make purchase online coase I cant get a credit card is there anyway I can run it with out buying online or adding funds
if there is not would the Steam gift cards work ??

Activating a steam gift card would add the funds to your steam wallet. From the steam wallet as long as you have steam guard enabled and made a purchase recently you'll be able to use the wallet credit on the market. If you didn't make a purchase in the last year then no you won't be able to make market purchases, and adding a gift card i do not think counts as a purchase.

When you activate the steam wallet the first time you need to make a steam store purchase. Once you buy something (not sure if it's game only, or if dlc would count) then you have to wait 30 days before you can use market, you will see a countdown on buy/sell button sometime after the first day.

I had bought a wallet card from a store during the winter sale, during that sale I bought a game using the wallet funds and one month later I was able to use the market. Have been using the market since.

I've added funds on my steam wallet but my friend said that i need to wait for 24 hours,i dont

Not with a gift/wallet card, but I would assume other payment methods you would have to wait a day or so for them to verify it.
