Stuck Pending Trade Offer - Items Unavailable for Trade

I asked a guy to send me a trade offer overnight for something, which he did. I get on this morning to respond to it, and it says "Items Unavailable for Trade." That wouldn't drive me crazy on its own, but the offer won't go out of my "Pending notifications" box. It's gotten real confusing and annoying, and I've only seen one other problem like this on the forums, which won't even let me click on it.
Does anyone have a solution to perhaps clear my trade offers, or get rid of it? The only thing I can click on is the "Report for Scam" box. Steam says that these are supposed to go to your offer history, but mine didn't. Guessing this is a glitch, but I'd just love to fix this.

if you have the annoying CANT DECLINE A TRADE, just trade with someone anyone, and then deny that offer,

all will vanish after that or time , 7-8 buisness days so far from what ive seen it just goes away eventually still, this as said before, has gone on for years with no fix, valve just cares about money not support for anything anymore.

just open a trade
anything anyone, and deny it on either end (decline it) or make a real trade works also
or again waiting.. for zzz ever
