Stuck Pending Trade Offer - Items Unavailable for Trade

I asked a guy to send me a trade offer overnight for something, which he did. I get on this morning to respond to it, and it says "Items Unavailable for Trade." That wouldn't drive me crazy on its own, but the offer won't go out of my "Pending notifications" box. It's gotten real confusing and annoying, and I've only seen one other problem like this on the forums, which won't even let me click on it.
Does anyone have a solution to perhaps clear my trade offers, or get rid of it? The only thing I can click on is the "Report for Scam" box. Steam says that these are supposed to go to your offer history, but mine didn't. Guessing this is a glitch, but I'd just love to fix this.

I heard that you should receive any new trade offer and ghost ones will disappear from pending. Anyone can confirm that?

I found a way to fix this error, and basically you're just need to send/receive any trade offer. Yes, it's that simple.
You can either send a random trade offer to me and I'll decline it or make a Buy Now trade on bazaar.tf, bot will send you a trade offer.

Fixed, had to trade with someone 4 times.

Anyone has any solution for this? I still have 2 pending trade notification with Items not being available. Tried offering a trade to another user, still the same. Any suggestion to get this irritation resolved is welcome.

Have you tried using the browser to offer a trade?
