Steam Account, wrong creation date.
If there is something postet about it, plz post link, didnt found something @ google.
i created my steamaccount with the shutdown of the Won server for HL/CS and the launch of CS1.6. but i ask me , September 12, 2003 was the launch of CS1.6, i had this account that date. but i got the 10 years just @ march 2014, anybody else has this issue with wrong account age ??

on my profil stands something like, member since march 2004, which cant be possible, i was able to play cs 2003

*edit* ok, i was able to reread some old news, look like the original cs 1.6 release date was
07.Januar 2003, i had this accout this date, why its tracked with an creatuion date of 04.march 2004 ?

Sounds more like you created a new account on the later date as I still have an account that was created within the first hour of Steam being released to the public with the correct date.

your Steam ID info is in the 2.25 million range. The account was created far after Steam's release.

i dont say that i created with the release of cs 1.6 beta, i created it with the release of cs1.6 final and the shutdown of the won servers (07.Januar 2003) the question remains. i played cs 1.6 @ final stage on first day, why my account has over 1 year lost ?

WON ID servers got shutdown July 31st 2004. Steam initial release was on September 12th 2003.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken it means 50XP/year. I need 26XP to get to the next level, IIRC, so unless I get lucky with booster packs or buy enough games until then, when I get the next "years of service" level in May it should bump me to the next level...

But yes, levels means squat. So you're not really wrong, it just takes one more step :-)
