Can No Longer Get Steam Trading Cards

I have a question about this. I have 4.6 hours on Skyrim with 10 new achievments, 2.8 hours of left 4 dead 2 and 4 new achievments, 9.8 hours of portal 2 with 2 new achievemtns, 3.1 hours of Killing floors and 5 new achievemtns, I have played all of these games the last 2 days for that long and thats how many achievments I have gotten. I have YET to get a single Steam Trading Card. Can anyone tell me why this is?

NOTE: I use to be able to get steam trading cards from like Terraria and Killing Floors, I stopped playing the computer for a while, and now I have returned and can no longer get Steam Trading Cards. Pleas help?

You can only get a certain number of card drops from each game, half of the total amount, rounded up. For example, if a game has 7 cards, you can get 4 card drops.

Also, you have to have the game on your account to get card drops, so you won't get them if you are accessing the game through family sharing.

^never experienced this, its usually about an hour or so for 3 card drops (about one every 20/25mins)

If you go to the top of the screen on steam, cruise over your name (next to community) and get the dropbox down then just go to badges. Thats how I check how many card drops I have left and what games have card drops :)

No you guys do no understand. I USE to get cards every like hour from a game. But recently I have gotten NO cards, all the cards I have, are from trading with friends.

Left 4 Dead 2 (has steam trading cards) 4+ hours no cards
Skyrim (has steam trading cards) 3+ hours no cards
Portal 2 (has steam trading cards) 9+ hours no cards
Killing Floors (has steam trading cards) 5+ hours no cards

All of these games I have gotten cards from them, but I turned most into badges. I use to get 1 card every hour or so, I have yet to get any.

Note: My friend is also exsperiencing this issue, but he has played over 10+ steam trading card games, with 15 or so hours on each with no cards.

There is a limit to the number of cards you get. You said you have gotten card drops for the games you listed. How many card drops does your badges page list you have left for those games?
