Also, you have to have the game on your account to get card drops, so you won't get them if you are accessing the game through family sharing.

Left 4 Dead 2 (has steam trading cards) 4+ hours no cards
Skyrim (has steam trading cards) 3+ hours no cards
Portal 2 (has steam trading cards) 9+ hours no cards
Killing Floors (has steam trading cards) 5+ hours no cards
All of these games I have gotten cards from them, but I turned most into badges. I use to get 1 card every hour or so, I have yet to get any.
Note: My friend is also exsperiencing this issue, but he has played over 10+ steam trading card games, with 15 or so hours on each with no cards.
How do you know if the card system is down?
