Is steam down or something?

I try to open steam but it just says "Connecting to steam account:Andreicv" and it's just stuck there. I even restarted my comp. What is happening? Is it from my end?

Same here - was loged in around 19:00 hours (Czech republic, GMT+1 time zone), then log out, now I cannot log in...

Steam started severely lagging out last night, now can't connect at all, just sits on the "connecting" dialog. Website seems to work but slower than usual of course.

I cant connect but most of my friends are on. Holy random outage Batman! I tried to reinstall steam and power cycled my interwebs. -tcp, deleted dlls nothing worked.
