Steam Subscriber Agreement
Yeah, I honestly have no idea what it's about but I actually decided to read it and I noticed something that honestly perturbed me a bit. The very first line said that I was agreeing I was a part of the European Union... and that's kinda not true. I'm from the US, so I had to click disagree. I was just wondering what the subscriber agreement meant and what it means for me that I've declined it.

Any enlightenment on this subject would be appriciated. Thanks!

If you've declined it then I believe you wont be able to play your games until you do agree.

The agreement is here:

Can you quote the bit you mean? I know that it covers the US and the EU separately as they have different legal rights.

Which part specifically? It only mentions Europe at the start stating "IF" you live the EU, such and such applies and/or does not apply.
Steam Subscriber Agreement a écrit :
If you are a Subscriber whose primary residence is in one of the member countries of the European Union (an “EU Subscriber”), your Subscriber relationship is with Valve S.a.r.l. (“Valve EU”). For all other Subscribers, your Subscriber relationship is with Valve Corporation (“Valve US”). Except as otherwise indicated at the time of purchase (such as in the case of purchases from another Subscriber in a Subscription Marketplace), any purchases you make are being made from the Valve entity that you are contracting with. Unless otherwise set forth in the below terms, any reference to “Valve” in this Agreement shall mean Valve EU if you are an EU Subscriber, and shall mean Valve US if you are any other Subscriber. Any reference to “Valve” in any Rules of Use or Subscription Terms shall, if and as the context requires, mean Valve EU, if you are an EU Subscriber, and shall mean Valve US otherwise.
This means that if you are in the EU, you are agreeing with EU valve, if not you are agreeing with US valve. It's not what you think it is.

Oooooh, I didn't read far enough then.. how can I bring it back up then? I'd like to agree to it before that whole account getting closed down happens.

Under what circumstances did it come up in the first place? You will have previously agreed to the Steam subscribers agreement every time you have added a game or bought a game through the store.

Your account is not going to be closed down just because you clicked on the don't agree button once. Steam will probably just ask you to agree to it again the next time it is required.
It was actually incredibly random.. it just suddenly appeared when I booted up my computer one day.
Welcome to Russia

when purchasing a game, there is a check box next to the line that says you have to agree to the SSA. you click that box
