That's not possible, you cannot hide them.

There is a limit of names that are in the list so you can get the name away by changing your name multiple times.

Still, you can't.

What you can do, in the next hours/days is changing your nickname until your real name does not appear anymore in the past aliases list (which I recall has 10 or 12 entries shown to the public).

i have a friend who changed their nick and it didn't show the previous history. they didn't tell me how they did it. maybe it just happened.

If you want to hide your name in 2019 click on the small down arrow that shows your previous names and then "Clear previous aliases"
