you've sent too many invitations recently. try inviting [unknown] again in a day or two

Im a trader in Dota2lounge, i add friend when i like the offer, Trade, and delete them when finish trading.. thats what i always do.. But this This message appear on my steam (only today) while adding a friend "you've sent too many invitations recently. try inviting [unknown] again in a day or two" what thus it mean? Thus i only have limit on adding friends a day? is this policy new in steam? just asking..seeking some answers and tips,because this is the first time happen to me =) thanks Guys!

is it normal? there a limit i adding friends?????? i think i only add lest thant 10 this day

you only have 8 friends.

I dont know if it is normal I never had to invite so many people.
all you can do is restart everything you have like modem , router and computer.

if you still get the "clear" message you wait a few days if it still happens after that contact support.

thinking about it a bit longer the trade bots on many websites invite people all day long.

maybe that person has blocked all communication with you or just ignored earlier invites..
but I do not know the things you tried before posting this.

i had thwe same problem.. is a steam problem tomorrow bwe fixwed-.. i dont know thwe limit but i asdd arround 30 per day( humans and bots)

im a trader on dota2lounge sir, so i cant control adding friends adding friends how many they are, but im quiet sure that im only adding friends less than 10 this day, hmm i think the person im adding doest block me this happen today i add 3 person and that mesage appear =( this is the first time this happen on my account...because before i can add more than 10 person a day and delete them when trade is finish... but ill try what you recomend to restart the router later,

Got the same just yet. Added about 5 people because they were all selling the same thing I was looking to buy, then after that I wasn't able to add anyone anymore.. Every time Error adding friend and this message I added too many friends already... :S

Never happened before and on a good day I sometimes add around 20-30 people.. Every day more bugs with steam.. kinda frustrating and annoying.. >.>

Could be a fix, but I've only added 5 people today so far.. If that is the limit I'm just out of words to describe this "fix".. >.>

hey mine is already fix i can add friends now, that" you've sent too many invitations recently. try inviting [unknown] again in a day or two" happen when im at the office aruond 5 hours ago, when i got home and login again its fix.. i can add friends now =)..

try to restart everything you have like modem , router and computer just like "MR. SPOOF" said
