Sorry to put it so bluntly but welcome to the list of suckers that have fallen for this scam.. If you were more observant it would not have happened. Not justifying the practice and hope the russians (always tracks back to Russia) that are doing this pay for it, but it does not change the fact that anyone that is careful about their passwords checks to make sure a site is legit before trying to log into it and these phishing sites have MANY red flags that they are NOT legit, starting with the fact that the Steam client refuses to connect to it, so it's clearly not in Steam's domains, and the Steam Client is the only interface anyone should be doing trading and marketting interactions with for just that reason.
You fell for a scam and it is in your part you got robbed.. Now, like I told the other people that I have bothered chiming in on that have experienced these problems, I sure hope you have changed your password since it happened or they will be back for more, you can almost be garraunteed.
ADDED: Having just gone to look at said site before I put in this part, just to make sure I am right, you also failed to look at the URL line in the browser you used because it fails to pass the credentials check that any legit site worth mentioning passes that in the Chrome browser shows as a green highlighted section before the URL that has a padlock and the name of the company that site is actually registered to... The site in question doesn't pass that check for anything and if you track them down, they are always on the same Russian ISP's servers.
To the OP: contact Steam Support (support.steampowered.com). They may or may not be able to restore your items, but they should at least be able to deal with the guy who did it.
