Random Friend Requests

So I've been getting random friend requests from people who when I add, paste in something like this: "Hey my friend couldn't add you (steam error) can you send him a friend request? [Enter Steam Profile link here]"
Now here's the problem, two out of the three encounters I've had have linked me accounts that clearly don't speak English, or are not from English speaking countries (and by that I mean countries where English is not their Native language) IE: Russia and Yemen I think. So I went ahead and added the first one (Thinking it was legit) and I get a response asking why I added them. So I explain telling them that I was told to add you by so and so for this reason and I end up getting a response saying something like "I don't know anybody by that name, Lol that's weird.". Now with me being a fairly avid trader, trading a few times every week, I come to expect friend requests seeing how I have TF2Outpost trades where that option is easy access. So I just want to know if anyone is experiencing the same thing and if there's a connection, because initially both me and the Random guy I was asked to add, both think that someone was pissed off at the guy and decided to troll him by spamming him with friend requests. (Also he told me he had like 6 or so FRs but I assume he was a pretty popular trader aswell so I disregarded that) So like I said let me know if you have anything similar happen to you.

if don't buy a game on steam they will not allow to send friend request more than that i think, but this thread is about something else!

Valve needs to make it harder to make an account. It may be high time that they restrict the sending of send invites to strangers for low level accounts. All these random invites I get are from level 0 to level 2 accounts. Most of the time their profiles are also private.

Valve needs to block this functionality for low level steam accounts with the exception of allowing people to still invite people who are connected to their Facebook on Steam. They also need to perhaps put restrictions on sending friend invites if your profile is set to private. As only people up to no good use private profiles and send friend invites. Normal people have their profiles visible to friends.

Why not?
Also, don't trust any accounts if they're only level 1 or 0, their account is private, they have that profile pic of Gabe Newell king pic, I don't really know what else to call it, or if they're named "[unnasigned]"

Valve you need to make this option level 0-2 will not be able to send friend request's but if that is there friend then the one with lvl 3 or higher needs to send the friend request

anyway Bots are dumb :P they are just programed to add Random people and say stuff send links. Say Something? they don't respond

Still those fatasses bots they have enough money(made from stolen items) to buy games for theyr bots and add ppl, so that thing that valve done, almost resolved the problem.
They aren't so annoying as they were before but it's not resolved Definitively
