Logitech joystick extreme 3D pro not working correctly.

The joystick does not work in War Thunder or X3AP. I have the latest driver from Logitech installed. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS. Windows tells me joystick is working correctly. A year ago joystick worked perfect while playing X3AP, then suddenly went into a left hand spiral. I purchased a new 3D pro and had the same exact problem. I gave up on it at that time. Now, I want to use it again... I've searched the web for answers and have tried everything. Any ideas?

I've downloaded the latest driver. I can not find any drivers any newer than 4 years ago which I find strange. Also, I have no duplicate or generic joysticks showing in the device manager. One item that concerns me is the calibration window. Something doesn't seem right here. In one box which I assume shows joystick movement there is no cursor. I have read many a website on the joystick and have tried every option. More imput please! I'm digging more now! Thank you!

I want to thank everyone for their imput! I was digging deeper than I needed to, stupid me! Simply going back to the default setting has solved the issue 100%. Happy gaming everyone!
