Sound through laptop and PS3
Not sure if this is the right place but... I was wondering if anyone could help and let me know if there's a way to play sound from my laptop and my PS3 simultaneously. I have a lenovo Z570 laptop and a Sony Wireless Stereo Headset and I want to talk to my friends on my laptop but hear game sound at the same time if it's possible please let me know. Thanks!

You could try using an RCA to 3.5mm adapter, connecting the non-HDMI output on your PS3 to your laptop's microphone port. You could then enable "listen" for that input device and it would play through your default speakers (your headset).

I am not sure if the PS3 outputs audio over HDMI and RCA at the same time, though. If it doesn't, you would have to sacrifice HD picture.
