Non Motionjoy method for PS3 controller issues

So I've been reading around and a lot of people have been saying don't use motionjoy. I've tried to use the Scarlet.Crush method and I've installed all of the drivers in teh origional post and made sure that everything is up to date.

I've plugged my PS3 controller in and run the SCP Driver and then the Monitor and my controler isn't showing. The Lights on the controller just flash. I'm using Windows 7. Could somebody help please?

Aaah that's what I've heard. This method seems pretty good but It's just not working for some reason.

I bypassed all that and bought an xbox controllre instead.

I dont like them. There too big and clunky.. Plus ps3 has dual-shock =D

This is simple, and awesome. no ads, no complicated settings
just install it, install few drivers. set it for computer start up and thats it
+you dont need to activate the controller, simply pressing the PS3 button
connects the controller automaticaly, even after you already started the game.

You still need the MIJ driers which isntalls the trojan tool. That 5 seconds is all it takes for the driver to hijack you if someone wanted to.

Yeah I've just had a read and It requires the MJ drivers. =/ Looks brilliant though but I'm not wanting to run the risk.

The pack that Installed has 3 main programs in it:
- ScpDrivers
- ScpMonitor
- ScpServer

The guide I followed said to install the PS3 via connecting to USB and update a few microsoft programs. Run the ScpDrivers which installed what I said it should and then if you look in the ScpMonitor it will be listed.. But it's not.

Now that I look I can't see any mention of the ScpServer which I tried to run but i came up with an error saying it cannot be executed via comandline.

The Scarlet.crush method is working for me (you need to be ingame, and have gamepads enabled). The only issue im having is that the button layout corresponds to xbox 360 controller, and for anyone used to a ps3 controller, the bumpers and the triggers are switched. I've been looking around on the web, and no one seems to have a fix for this, or someway to remap the buttons. If anyone does know, it would be sorta helpful.
