VVVVVV Won't Launch

Whenever I try to run VVVVVV, it closes on me. Is there a fix for this? I would really appreciate it.

Have you tried seeing if verifying your game cache fixes your problem?

Same problem, but i solved it. Try to edit the .exe /propieties/compatibility/Run in 640x480

SOLUTION: (Posting here because this is the first Google search result)
You need to install Visual C++. Go to the link below and download the x86 .exe (additionally the x64 if running 64-bit system). The game should now launch, if not, try restarting first.
